A bright start and journey North to Harrogate was the order of the day to catch up with the latest accessories and guns in the shooting world. The weather was kind and only a few short showers made an appearance which didn’t dampen the atmosphere. The show had 3 main halls and 3 large areas outside including a huge clay line. A productive day on all things Shoot SP and eye dominance related saw more articles arranged and some big new companies getting their hands on the SP. More news to follow.
As I write this the Krieghoff DTL is up and running and the SP is available for purchase and demo at Mid Wales Shooting centre. The SP has proven popular with DTL shooters in the “gun up” position around 2 0’clock on the barrels allowing them a controlled 2 eyes open setup and shot. Let’s see if the SP picks up any more honours after a Krieghoff winter series honour this year by a cross dominant lady shooter at Mid Wales.
I was lucky enough to get to a pre English open shoot this week at Garlands and managed a 2nd place with a 96 ex 100 alongside a fellow SP shooter who shoots gun up rather than my gun down style. Rob also shot a 96 ex 100 so a good day for the SP eye dominance solution.
